The only thing Will Newman wants to be in control of is getting out of this hospital。 He couldn’t care less about his treatments， or a fancy new clinical drug trial。 Soon， he’ll turn eighteen and then he’ll be able to unplug all these machines and actually go see the world， not just its hospitals。
Will’s exactly what Stella needs to stay away from。 If he so much as breathes on Stella she could lose her spot on the transplant list。 Either one of them could die。 The only way to stay alive is to stay apart。 But suddenly six feet doesn’t feel like safety。 It feels like punishment。

OMG！ This book is so cute yet so heartbreaking at the same time。 I cried like a baby at the end and I´m not a sensitive person， so take that as you will。I highly recomend this book if you want to cry。

Stella lleva conviviendo con la Fibrosis Quística toda su vida pero cuando una recaída la lleva de nuevo al hospital conoce a Will， otro enfermo de FQ 。 Su relación empieza con mal pie pero poco a poco van haciéndose más cercanos lo que hace que la regla de estar alejados dos metros sea cada vez más difícil de llevar。La verdad es que antes de leer este libro ya había visto la película y me había gustado bastante， sobre todo porque uno de los protagonistas es interpretado por Cole Sprouse。 Este l Stella lleva conviviendo con la Fibrosis Quística toda su vida pero cuando una recaída la lleva de nuevo al hospital conoce a Will， otro enfermo de FQ 。 Su relación empieza con mal pie pero poco a poco van haciéndose más cercanos lo que hace que la regla de estar alejados dos metros sea cada vez más difícil de llevar。La verdad es que antes de leer este libro ya había visto la película y me había gustado bastante， sobre todo porque uno de los protagonistas es interpretado por Cole Sprouse。 Este libro es básicamente la misma historia aunque a mayores hay un epílogo que en la adaptación a la pantalla olvidaron incluir y que me ha gustado bastante encontrar。 El libro nos cuenta la historia de Will y Stella， dos enfermos de Fibrosis Quística， una enfermedad en la que los pulmones no trabajan adecuadamente ya que se van llenando de moco y para la que no hay un tratamiento。 Stella ha llegado al hospital por una recaída que le ha hecho perderse el viaje de fin de curso junto a sus compañeros de instituto， mientras que Will está allí por un tratamiento experimental que puede mejorar su B cepacia， el tipo de FQ más peligrosa。 Y aunque el comienzo entre ambos es difícil pronto empiezan a desarrollar unos sentimientos de los más peligrosos y que si no tienen cuidado pueden incluso acabar con la mayor esperanza de Stella， recibir un trasplante de pulmón。 La verdad es que el libro me ha gustado bastante， he aprendido mucho sobre la FQ y me ha recordado un poco a la situación que estamos viviendo ahora， los dos metros de distancia entre los enfermos， la importancia de las mascarillas y los geles higiénicos， los peligros del contacto físico， etc。 Aunque lo que más me ha gustado es que la autora nos muestra las diferentes maneras en las que se puede afrontar una situación tan difícil como es ser paciente de una enfermedad terminal como es la FQ， a través de Stella y Will， quien en un principio， son totalmente diferentes。 La positividad de Stella frente al cansancio y derrotismo de Will no tienen nada que ver。 Me gustó que se reflejara que tener una actitud u otra frente a una enfermedad es importante puesto que influye en el desarrollo de la misma。 También me ha gustado que se muestre lo duro y difícil que es para las familias o amigos de personas enfermas vivir esta situación， así como que se refleje la dura realidad de esta enfermedad。 En cuanto a los personajes tengo que decir que todos me han gustado aunque me ha costado entender algunos comportamientos de Will y Stella。 El romance también me ha gustado， se desarrolla lentamente y de una manera muy dulce y bonita。 Además nos plantea la difícil cuestión de cómo puede darse un amor o relación sin la posibilidad de tener contacto físico puesto que los enfermos de FQ deben mantener la distancia entre ellos ya que las infecciones cruzadas los pueden hacer empeorar。 La verdad es que me gustó ver las maneras tan ingeniosas que ambos personajes buscaban para estar juntos y cómo a través de su relación recuperaron la ilusión y la esperanza de vivir。 En cuanto al final creo que es el más adecuado y real para esta historia。 En definitiva una historia dura y real sobre la FQ que creo que os emocionaría y encantaría。 。。。more

I absolutely loved it in all possible ways。 The characters perfectly reflected the perspectives about life and death， existing and living。 I think there is always something special and captivating in hospital romance books but this one left me shook for so many days。 The desire to live because someone else and the compulsion to die for someone else was absolutely heartbreaking but also made me believe in selfless love again。 The easy and natural writing about such complicated topic made the read I absolutely loved it in all possible ways。 The characters perfectly reflected the perspectives about life and death， existing and living。 I think there is always something special and captivating in hospital romance books but this one left me shook for so many days。 The desire to live because someone else and the compulsion to die for someone else was absolutely heartbreaking but also made me believe in selfless love again。 The easy and natural writing about such complicated topic made the reading very enjoyable and I certainly consider this one of my favourite books of all times。 。。。more
